§1 About Narro
Narro is an AI-powered thought companion that allows users to capture personal thoughts, receive AI-generated insights about emotions and patterns, and take actionable steps toward clarity. Narro is designed for personal reflection and self-improvement.
§2 Eligibility
To use Narro, you must:
- Be at least 17 years of age, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (whichever is higher)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
- Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Service
If you are under 17, you may not use Narro. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a user under the required age, we will delete that information promptly.
§3 Your Account
3.1 Account Creation
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
3.2 Account Security
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and any authentication credentials. Narro is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with security obligations.
3.3 One Person, One Account
You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
§4 License to Use Narro
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Narro grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
- Use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose
- Bypass any security or technical limitations
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
§5 Your Content
5.1 Ownership
Anything you write, record, or upload to Narro (your "User Content") remains yours. You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to your thoughts, journal entries, and reflections.
5.2 License You Grant Us
To operate the Service, you grant Narro a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (including running AI analysis, generating insights, and saving your entries). This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
5.3 Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that:
- You have the right to submit the content
- Your content does not violate any law or third-party right
- Your content is not abusive, threatening, or harmful to others
5.4 No Monitoring Obligation
We do not actively monitor User Content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
§6 AI-Generated Content
Narro uses artificial intelligence to generate insights, emotional analysis, and suggested actions based on your input ("AI Output"). You understand and agree that:
- AI Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation
- AI Output is not professional advice — not medical, psychological, legal, or financial guidance
- You should not rely on AI Output as the sole basis for important life decisions
- Narro makes no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or appropriateness of AI Output
- AI Output may reflect biases inherent in machine learning models
§7 Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or abusive
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Solicit, threaten, or harm minors
- Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service for commercial solicitation or spam
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination.
§8 Subscriptions, Purchases & Refunds
8.1 Free and Paid Tiers
Narro may offer free features and paid subscription tiers ("Premium"). Pricing and features are described in the App at the time of purchase.
8.2 Apple App Store Billing
All purchases through the iOS App are processed by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
8.3 Managing Subscriptions
You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your iOS device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
8.4 Refunds
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple per their refund policy. Narro does not directly process refunds for App Store transactions.
8.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
§9 Privacy
Your privacy matters deeply to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Narro, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
§10 Intellectual Property
The Service — including all software, design, logos, trademarks, text, and graphics (excluding your User Content) — is owned by Narro or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.
§11 Mental Health & Medical Disclaimer

§12 Service Availability
We strive to keep Narro available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or events beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss caused by Service downtime.
§13 Termination
13.1 By You
You may stop using Narro and delete your account at any time. Email narro.app@gmail.com for account deletion (in-app deletion is on the roadmap and will be available soon).
13.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
§14 Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Narro disclaims all warranties, including:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of content
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
§15 Limitation of Liability

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Narro, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party right
- Your User Content
§17 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the App or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
§18 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
18.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to first contact us at narro.app@gmail.com to attempt informal resolution.
18.2 Jurisdiction
Any unresolved dispute shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of India, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
§19 Apple-Specific Terms
If you downloaded Narro from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:
- These Terms are between you and Narro, not Apple
- Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support
- Apple is not liable for any product-related claims, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property infringement
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them
You also agree to comply with applicable third-party agreements (such as your wireless data agreement) when using the Service.
§20 Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Narro.
- Severability. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them without notice.
- Force Majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
